ISO: Keys Player for Established Denver Band
We’re looking for a highly skilled keys player to join our band! We are gearing up for gigs this spring and beyond. Our longtime keys player has moved on, and we need someone who can step in, learn our existing material, and help shape new songs.
We’re a gigging band with a strong Denver fan base, regularly playing venues like The Roxy on Broadway, Cervantes Otherside, Globe Hall, Lost Lake, Moes, some breweries, and more. We aim to play a show every six weeks. Balancing shows with refining our originals. Our setlists are mostly originals, with some fun choice covers thrown in. We’ve already released two albums on major streaming platforms, and we have plenty more material in the works.
Our music has elements of jam music, Rock, Funk, Americana, and Blues—if we can’t do the groove or the genre justice, we don’t play it. We take our music seriously and have a ton of fun, collaborating put on the best show possible. We rehearse in a kick-ass 20x20 studio space that we rent monthly in RINO. We typically rehearse once per week but have commitments to make progress practicing on our own between rehearsals. We’re dudes in our mid 30s.
The ideal keys player is someone who can groove, improvise, and pick up tunes quickly. BONUS if the keys player can play piano, electric piano, organ, and synth tones, but not all are required. Being able to sing or contribute to song development is a plus, but the right feel and musicianship are what matter most.
Be prepared to send over video and/or audio recordings of you playing. Please refer to our albums and YouTube clips below to get an idea:
