Very methodical approach formulated through years of experience.
Great for beginners, intermediate, and self-taught players.
I teach with a strong emphasis on fundamentals and technique.
I'm a firm believer in establishing good habits and avoiding bad ones.
I also like to explore how rhythm and time keeping can be approached
and conceived of mentally. A combination of organic and analytical approach,
looking at things from both the feel and mathematical side of things.

Beginner to Advanced (DCI Top 12 Level) Snare / Multi-Tom / Bass
Drum lines under my tutelage have won over fifteen state championships
as well as a WGI World Class Championship.

Metal, Progressive Metal, Funk, Country, Beginner Jazz.
Emphasis placed on time keeping and our internal clocks.
Past students have gone on to be professional gigging/touring musicians
as well as attend schools such as U.N.T. and the Berklee College of Music.
Development of technique, time keeping, vocabulary, dynamics, odd time signatures,
reading skills, groove/feel, how to conceive of and create parts are all explored.
