We are a startup Americana/roots/countryish group consisting of acoustic guitar, mandolin, ukulele, bass and myself on vocals and washboard. We got some Johnny Cash, a little Hank Williams, a bit of Old Crow and even a song from the Jungle Book movie. We are working on original songs as we speak. We are looking for a BANJO player. If you can sing, that is even better.

We are fresh. But we are full of potential not to mention a damn fine looking bunch of folk. Everyone is in, meaning they intend to follow through with this project. Great musicianship from all of us. The boys are really laid back and cool and that is what I am looking for. I am too old for drama, egos or other bullshit.

3 of us live at City Park in Denver so that is where we intend to practice. Once a week rehearsals is the goal. Playing out is the outcome. Since these are pretty simple 3 chord songs - but a shit ton of fun to play and listen to - we could be playing out quickly.

Here is a link to my old "jug" band. I played washboard and sang back up.

Let me know as soon as possible. We are lighting the fuse and are playing this week.
