Beast of a bass rig - $1,000 (Westminster)

Beast of a bass rig 1 thumbnailBeast of a bass rig 2 thumbnail
Iconic vintage GK RB800.

This amp has some serious things going for it in my opinion.

This is basically two amps in 1. Why is that important for this rig? You have the option to run the highs out of one of the amps and into the Hartel cabinet. This allows you to separate the treble and slap frequencies into a completely different cabinet, which I like to put in top of the lower cabinet as pictured.

You are then free to crank the run along lows through the beefy tc 2x10. You can also adjust what frequencies go to which cabinet with the crossover feature.
Tis equates to a huge sound that will remain crystal clear and will not fart out on you in any setting. It’s also an incredibly versatile rig in that it is lightweight and you can just bring one of the 2x10s with you for smaller gigs.

2.It has a heat sink, rather than internal fans. One less thing to break and this amp has been running strong since the 80’s. The new reissues ($999) are a totally different and cheaper design (and they now added internal fans)

Total as package (will include all cables) $1000

Prices separately:
Head: $600
Tc 2x10: $400
Hartke 2x10: $160
