For sale is a beautiful vintage E.A. Couturier silver-plated cornet, believed to date from between 1918–1925.
This is an attractive example featuring ornate floral engraving on the bell and the distinctive Couturier conical-bore design. The instrument is in good vintage condition, with normal wear consistent with its age. It is playable, and the valves and slides move as they should.
Included are:
- Original hard case
- Original alternate tuning slides
The silver plating has aged nicely, and the engraving remains crisp and eye-catching. This would make an excellent addition to a collection, a display piece, or a unique instrument for a brass player interested in historic American instruments.
