Founded by master craftsman Emerson DeFord, these flutes are widely known for their durability, solid silver headjoints and/or bodies, and reliable intonation. They are highly regarded as great intermediate or step-up instruments.
Emerson DeFord was a master craftsman who worked with prominent flute companies like Armstrong and Gemeinhardt before establishing his own brands in Elkhart, Indiana.
Comes in a Gemeinhardt hard case for flute and piccolo. Includes metal swab wand and 5 open hole plugs.
This flute was bequeathed to the Rocky Mountain Flute Choir, and its sale benefits the Choir.
