1983 Alvarez Yairi DY45N dreadnought acoustic guitar made in Japan. This guitar is an excellent example of Japanese craftsmanship, it has a fabulous sound, the solid spruce top has fully opened up and really rings out. Other features include solid Mahogany back, sides, and neck, a rosewood fretboard, non original locking tuners, and ebony bridge pins. Condition wise I’d say good/very good: It's definitely been played but not abused, although it has numerous little dings and scratches there are no cracks or repairs. It had a fret level crown and polish done a while back, there is no neck warpage, it has fairly decent action and plays well. It comes with the original hard shell case, though one of the latches is broken. These models are going for over a grand (see Reverb.com) as Yairi's tend to hold their value due to their superior build quality and sound. The only trade I’d possibly consider is maybe the right smaller bodied guitar of equal value but I’m mostly selling it because I need the cash. I’m happy to answer any questions and thanks for looking!
