Made in Japan Fender PJ from 1986, just like Duff’s! All original, plays and sounds great. Has some of the character that you’d expect from a 40 year-old survivor, but it’s been well taken care of. Sometimes also called “Contemporary” or “Boxer”. Whatever, it rips.
Jazz bass neck, lovely rosewood fretboard, pearly-sparkly finish, and super lightweight. The frets are in great shape, none sitting low or proud… no buzzes anywhere on the neck. I have it set up to my liking at about 2mm above the 12th fret. Plug and play.
