I have a reliable, gently-used, Yamaha V-5 violin with kit upgrade [equivalent to the V-5 SKU kit] in great-shape (the V-5 SKU kit is the same V-5 violin with the addition of: a case, bow, Guarneri ebony chin-rest, rosin, shoulder-straps, and shoulder-rest — all included in this full-package used instrument w/kit).
The V-5 is a quality entry-level student violin. This instrument is designed with affordability, durability and ease of play in mind. Because it’s affordable doesn’t mean it’s cheap; the V-5 is a tried and true student-violin and one of the most popular entry-level models on the market for a reason: you can afford to send your kid to class in style and ready for any challenges they may face on the beginning of their musical journey, with the peace of mind that the V-5 will handle the task.
This violin is also easy on the ears as well as your bottom-line. We all love our children…. …but let’s face it, listening to them sometimes isn’t always the best way to enjoy an evening while they practice — fingernails and a chalkboard come to mind. 🎻 this won’t be the case with the V-5 — at least in a perfect world.
This violin is in full working-order and is not in need of any types of repairs. This instrument is ready for orchestra and home-study. It has a few scratches and various minor blemishes, but is in overall serviceable condition.
