For sale is a vintage Kay Red Devil hollow body electric guitar (1960s era). This is a rare Chicago-made instrument with a killer vintage look and tone.
Hollow body with f-holes
Classic cherry red finish with cream binding
Dual single-coil pickups with chrome covers
Original vibrato tailpiece
4 control knobs + selector switch
Diamond inlay fret markers
Bolt-on neck (Kay style)
Condition notes:
Guitar shows honest vintage wear, finish checking, and some scratches typical of its age.
Hardware shows patina, knobs and electronics are intact.
One seam separation on the back edge (see photos).
Electronics work, but as with most vintage guitars, a setup/cleaning may be desired for best playability.
