This started life as a Squier Affinity Stratocaster. I upgraded the pickups to gold lipstick style. I rewired it for a master volume/master tone scheme.
A Brenner USA piezo bridge was added for an acoustic-like sound. The output is split into normal electric sounds and acoustic sounds, so you can send them to separate amps or a PA system. This bridge is a major upgrade to the original for electric sounds (plus you get the acoustic sound).
The lipstick pickups sound fantastic: full sounding with good bass and warm, chimey treble. They are a calibrated set.
You can plug in with a regular guitar cord and it plays like a normal Strat. When you use the included y-adapter you get access to the acoustic sound, too.
I did a full setup, including cleaning up the frets and oiling the fingerboard, and put on new strings (GHS White Bronze 11's) as recommended by Brenner USA. It's playing great!
The video shows both sounds individually and then combined. (Can't figure out how to put video on this listing! I could possibly send it to you... maybe you can see it here https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1RUn8y2jd7/
No overdrive was used, but you can imagine what a big sound that is if you put some distortion on it and combine that with acoustic sound!
If you have struggled with feedback on your acoustic guitar, this is the solution.
This guitar is in "player" condition. It is not pristine, as it has been used.
I would trade this straight across for an Electro Harmonix B9 pedal.
Otherwise, cash only. Pick up at my location in North Denver metro area.
