The Soul-o 45 is an all-tube, hand-wired sleeper gem from the mid-90s produced in a very small run by Aspen Pittman and the Groove Tubes crew before being bought-out by Fender. This amp is incredibly versatile - as a super-clean platform with nothing but headroom, it serves as a perfectly neutral pedal foundation. What you put in is what you get out without coloration. You'll find I have it competitively priced with Soul-O 45s on other online marketplaces, and you won't have to pay tax or shipping.

The Soul-o 45 can be configured with your choice of tubes: 6L6s for the glassy, blackface sound, KT88s for jazz, EL34s for the British punch, and others. This Soul-o 45 is currently set up with JJ E34L power tubes (25 watts each) for 50 watts of power.

Specs:
• 40-65 RMS watts, depending on power tubes
• Preamp section: 3 x 12AX7, 1 x 12AT7, 1 x 12AU7
• Mercury Magnetics designed power and output transformers
• Hand-soldered, and hand-built to order
• Solid-core American plywood cabinet (not particle board!)
• Effects loop
• Eminence Classic Clone 12" speaker

These hand wired, 45-60 Watts (dependent upon flexible power tube configuration), GT Soul-O 45 amps are hard to come by and have become very sought after by tone enthusiasts. These came loaded with a 12" Grove Tube Classic Clone speaker by Eminence, specifically designed for these amps. The onboard tube driven reverb is lush and deep.

Here are the build specs from Groove Tubes:
• 1 - All components are hand soldered. There are no quick disconnects, wire nuts, or dipped connections and over120 hand soldered connections on the tubes sockets alone.
• 2 - All transformers are custom designed and made exclusively for Groove Tubes.
• 3 - GT S45 amps are designed to use your choice of power tubes. Choose from a total of 11 different tubes which are currently available from our GT catalog. Customized your S45 for tone and power from 40 RMS watts to 65RMS watts, depending on the selected power tube!
• 4 - We use only double sided, double thick PC boards with double thick traces. We use chassis mount type power tube sockets hand bolted, hand soldered, and hand wired to the PCB. This is the best of both worlds; PCB and point to point construction.
• 5 - Each amps is hand built to order. There are more than 18 hours of hand labor in each Soul-o Series S45 amp!
• 6 - There is no particle board in any part of our cabinetry, only solid core American plywood.
