Up for sale is a Marshall 1987X from around 2000. Absolute classic Plexi tone—loud, punchy, and aggressive. This thing sounds fantastic and does exactly what you want a 50w Marshall to do.

Cosmetically it has some tolex wear from normal use, nothing structural or unusual for a 25-year-old amp. No issues functionally.

It has a master volume mod installed, making it way more usable at reasonable volumes. The mod is easily reversible if you want it 100% stock. Otherwise, it’s a great way to get cranked Plexi tones without destroying eardrums.

If you’re after real Marshall grind—not a modeler, not a modern high-gain thing—this is it.
