The Triton introduced many improvements over the Trinity, like 62-note polyphony, dual polyphonic arpeggiators, RPPR phrase recorder, onboard sampler with expandable RAM, greatly improved effects & routing possibilities (including the processing of external signals via the internal effects), larger synthesis modulation matrix, faster operating system, significantly faster touchscreen response, sample ROM expandability, enhanced UI including category search (ability to browse through related groups of sounds like pianos, brass, strings, etc.), additional audio output jacks, redesigned sequencer adding individual track looping and Cue List and significantly more event memory, more than doubled Program/Combination memory slots, more realtime controllers including knobs, portamento, and availability of multi-timbral MOSS synthesis expansion (whereas Trinity's MOSS expansion was mono-timbral).

Manuals:

The dual polyphonic arpeggiators each control up to 12 tones and 48-steps per pattern. Arpeggio patterns extending as much as 4 octaves can be running as you play or can be recorded to the internal sequencer. You can apply 2 different arpeggio patterns each to specific timbres in a Combination or Sequence for different patterns on each part of a split keyboard, use velocity to switch between 2 arpeggio patterns, and much more. There is even a fixed-note mode to easily create drum rhythms in the arpeggiator. Arpeggio patterns can be changed in realtime while you play, can be synchronized to MIDI clock for connections with external MIDI gear, or programmed to start in synchronization with the internal sequencer.

The Triton is loaded with 32MB of multi-sample sounds that sound crystal clear and quite warm. With these samples and the Triton's in-depth programmability you can create pretty much any sounds, from an orchestral flute with life-like vibrato to all-out chord-stabs with filtering for dance-floor house music, complete with beats and cool arpeggio patterns and phrases.

The high-quality effect section has flexible routing capabilities and a BPM/MIDI Sync function for controlling effects in sync to a tempo. The polyphonic dual arpeggiators add new dimension to your Programs, Combinations, and Sequences.

The TouchView Graphical User Interface lets you easily operate the instrument with a touch of the finger. 4 realtime knobs, 2 switches, 3 arpeggiator control knobs, and a ribbon controller add to your expressive control. The keyboard has six outputs with easy sound and effect routing capabilities.

It has been used by The Orb, Orbital, Depeche Mode, BT, Rick Wakeman, Yes, Keith Emerson, Vangelis, Saga, Aqua, Royksopp and Apollo 440.

This board has been meticulously cleaned, including all buttons, encoders, faders, and I/O jacks for crackle-free operation. It will arrive in its original box, ready-to-use in your studio or on stage. Two Expansion circuit boards are also installed: EXB-PCM04 Dance Extreme and EXB-PCM08 Concert Grand Piano, worth $150 each.

Comes with power-supply cord and X-stand can be added.
