The "wings" unscrew with an on-board hex wrench that is also the trussrod wrench. When you use a strap, you don't have to use the wings. The strap of the case doubles as the guitar strap, so you don't need to carry a strap with you. This guitar is extremely well thought out!
This is perfect for silent rehearsing, for armchair playing, for long band rehearsals, for live use on long sets/gigs, for travel.
I have too many travel guitars so I'm parting with this one. I bought it new 2 years ago and it's never left my music room.
It is small and lightweight, but still has a normal length fretboard. It has active electronics, a 1/4" jack, a 1/8" headphone jack, and an MP3/smartphone input jack. Strap included.
It comes with a form fitting gigbag. The wings come off and store in the gig bag.
