Fantastic Bourgeois Vintage D with an Adirondack red spruce top and East Indian rosewood back/sides. Made in Lewiston, ME. Ebony fretboard and bridge. Genuine bone nut and compensated saddle. Mahogany neck, with a Brazilian rosewood overlay on the headstock. Herringbone top trim. Waverly tuners with "butterbean" knobs. Custom TKL/Bourgeois hardshell case, arched top and back. Very comparable to a Martin D-28 Authentic or a Collings D2HA.
The guitar is in VG+ to Excellent condition. There is some light scratching and a few minor dings. Very little fret wear. The bridge was recently re-glued, and one of the gear screws on the tuners is mismatched. One of the case latches is missing its loop, but otherwise the case is in great shape. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a "Touchstone" series Bourgeois guitar; those are made in China. This is a fully American-made instrument, from the small Bourgeois/Pantheon workshop in Maine.
On the positive side, the guitar looks, plays and sounds amazing. Great tone and tremendous volume, and it's probably not even fully opened up yet!
