This isn’t your run-of-the-mill American Vintage Jaguar. This is the Fender Special Run (FSR) version commissioned by Andertons Music in the UK in 2015 — finished in the elusive Sonic Blue nitro lacquer that was never offered in the U.S. market.
Only a tiny handful of these made it stateside. Most collectors estimate fewer than 75 worldwide.

Built in Corona, California alongside the standard AV ’65 series, this model captures everything that made mid-’60s offsets legendary — short-scale comfort, glassy chime, surf twang, and the most period-accurate hardware Fender has ever reproduced.

If you’ve been hunting the “holy grail” AV65 Jaguar color that Fender never sold in America, this is it. OHSC and Case Candy included.

Mint Condition. Stored in it's case in a smoke-free, climate-controlled studio since purchase. Neck is arrow-straight, action low, electronics silent and perfect. Still smells like new nitro when you open the case. You will not find a cleaner example of this rare finish anywhere.
