Brandon Montgomery is arguably the finest amp builder today and he is the heir apparent to Howard Dumble, but with his own insight into what makes killer tone! I bought this amp from the former Fender Rep ( of 25+ years) a few years ago and really haven't had the chance to use it in my small studio. What I can tell you is that nothing else I have ever used comes close to this. Serviced by Brandon a year and a half ago it is stunning, this a 100 watt model that currently has 6L6s but can take eL34s it has all of the goodies, half power, preamp boost, adjustable FET option and has the Loop-a-lator. When I met with Brandon he mentioned that his favorite speaker is the EV 12s. I just installed one after trying both an Austin Speaker Works and a Scumback J series 100 watt.
