For sale is my Fender Prodigy electric guitar in a lake placid blue finish. This is a U.S.-made Prodigy from the early 1990s. Based on the serial number it was produced in 1991 during Fender’s short-lived (2.5 year) Prodigy run. Comes with Charvel hard shell case.

The Prodigy was Fender’s take on a modern “super-Strat,” featuring:
- Fast, comfortable neck with a flatter radius
- HSS pickup configuration for both classic Fender tones and higher-gain sounds
- Simplified controls compared to a traditional Strat

Made in the USA, with much lower production numbers than standard Stratocasters

Plays great, sounds excellent, and is a cool, uncommon Fender model you don’t see every day. Normal light wear for its age, no major issues. Great for players who want something different from a standard Strat, or collectors looking for an interesting early-’90s Fender.
