2024 PRS McCarty 594 10-Top - $3,000 (Arvada)

Resonant and surprisingly loud acoustically (compared to my other solidbodies; I cannot speak for all guitars). But it does me no good when it lives in its case, and so I continue to lean on my roadworn Les Pauls and am moving this along to get something I am less hesitant to play on stage.
The specs are somewhat of a transition between the earlier runs and the current model.
- 58/15LT pickups with coil taps
- 2-tone hardware
- Full nitrocellulose finish
- Vintage-style tuners
- Pattern Vintage neck profile
Playability: it’s a PRS. Plays great. No fret wear, nothing of note. Nut is great, truss rod turns smoothly. Tuners also turn smoothly.
Electronics: perfect. No noisy pots, nothing loose. Push/pulls work as expected.
Weight is 7 pounds, 13 ounces. Top has nice, tight flame. Not the most outrageous top I’ve seen on a PRS, but still lovely.
In addition to the guitar, included is the original hardshell case and paperwork.
Guitar is overall in very nice condition. It’s got very little play time on it and I used it pretty much exclusively in my studio. Please read below and see all photos.
- The most obvious and probably the most significant cosmetic flaws are on the back. There are some swirls, marks, and light scratches. Nothing deep, no worming that I’ve seen. As the guitar back is black, every single imperfection is visible.
- There is some light hazing on the bridge where the player would rest their palm. This is pretty normal for nickel hardware.
- Neck pickup ring screws are not as gold as the rest of the screws. This never really bothered me and is how it came to me. I am including some gold screws I ordered but they are not quite the same shade of gold.
- The case has a few small cosmetic marks: small scuffs, bumps. Nothing significant and nothing structural. Interior is clean, with no odors or tears.
May be interested in partial trades for 61 SGs, or something similar. The only full trades I’d be interested in are R7 LPs, post-2021 PRS Custom 24s or PRS HBs IIs (doesn’t need to be a 10 top).
