Description
This is a 2017 Taylor 614ce WW. These were part of a small run made for Wildwood. This is before the V Bracing changeover. This is has the Advanced Performance bracing, but what really sets it apart is that the bracing is Adirondack Spruce with the torrified Sitka top that has some very nice bearclaw figure behind the bridge.
These rarely pop up - if ever. The Expression System works great, and it has nice, low action.
I very recently had the guitar worked over by a local shop. They did a neck reset, dialed it in and did a once over to check for any issues. Came back with a clean bill of health and is currently strung up with 12s.
What’s Included
Includes original case. I can also provide a digital copy of the spec sheet from Taylor on request.
Condition
Guitar is in very good condition overall. The top does have some scratches, but no gouges. There are some minor dings in the back on the lower edge as well - I tried my best to photograph these as best as I could. I had the neck reset recently, and the label that covers the bolt is coming off - this is pretty typical after that kind of work, and while it doesn’t present any issues, it is worth disclosing.
While this guitar has lived in Colorado its entire life, there are no cracks or structural issues.
The case has some superficial scratches and paint transfer from being stored, but is perfectly sound and the interior is clean. There are no tears and all latches work as they should.
