Kawai is considered one of the premier piano builders in the world today. Like Yamaha, they have the depth to build pianos that cover the entire range from entry-level to handmade high-performance conservatory and concert grands. Kawai has expressed that skill through the Shigeru line.
The Shigeru pianos are built in the same facility as the famous EX concert grands. Their best artisans and technicians oversee every detail: soundboard, hammers, strings, bridges – everything is meticulously attended to, creating something special. And because of this focused attention to detail, the Shigeru is a very limited-edition line with about 300 pianos being produced each year.
This 6’ 2” SK3 is a classic conservatory size intended for use in a teaching studio, small venue, recording studio, or the private home. It is suitable for even the most advanced pianist.
All of the pianos in our used inventory are carefully inspected to ensure they are up to our high musical standards.
