This is #1 of 2 Estonia L190 grands that we have on offer. This is the older of the two.
All Estonia pianos are handcrafted; usually less than 300 are available each year for the world. They are built to the highest standards of European craftsmanship with the finest materials: German Renner actions and hammers, birch rims, beech pinblocks, and solid mountain spruce soundboards from the Alps. They are designed to be performance-level instruments, suitable for pianists of the highest caliber. Their tone is described as rich, warm, singing, dynamic.
The success of this small company has come about almost entirely by word-of-mouth. Estonia piano customers have developed, some have joked, an almost cult-like enthusiasm for their instruments, organizing musical get-togethers all around the country.
The 6’ 3” L190 is impressive with its full-range dynamic and tonal palette. Because of its wide-tail design, the bass and cello range are enhanced, sounding more like a 7’ grand.
