In 1991 Steinway introduced the Boston line of pianos for pianists seeking high performance at a more affordable price than the New York handmade instruments. They partnered with the Japanese builder Kawai, who could produce less expensive pianos to Steinway’s specific scale designs.
The GP-193 is a larger conservatory grand, designed for rigorous use in schools, churches, studios, and the homes of serious pianists. With its length and extra wide tail, it has the depth and richness of tone found in larger pianos 7’ and over.
All of the pianos in our used inventory are carefully inspected to ensure they are up to our high musical standards.
