Summary:
Prepares and operates FLOW Water Jets to process/produce high quality products. Maintains equipment
and assists with any other Fabrication/Assembly/Machining as needed.
Periodically you may be reassigned to meet the company’s needs. Work assignments, work
locations, and work schedules are at the sole discretion of management.
Requirements:

• Measuring equipment – Calipers, Micrometers, Squares – Required
• Metal Fabrication: 2+ years (Required)
• CNC Waterjet operator: 2+ years (Required)
• Metal Fabrication: 2+ years (Required)
• Blueprint Reading (GD&T): 2+ years (Required)
• Forklift Experience: 1 year (Required)
• 5 Axis CNC Waterjet operation: 2+ years (Preferred)
• Flowpath / Flowcut Software Experience: 2+ years (Preferred)
• Personal shop tools Preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and means of transportation

Responsibilities and Key Skills:
• Understand blueprints and geometric tolerance interpretation
• Knowledgeable in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such
instruments.
o Instruments should include but not are limited to calipers, depth gages, gage pins, gage blocks,
indicators, squares, and scales
• Fabrication of machine parts and assemblies from drawings provided by Operations
Manager
• Responsible for operation, loading, and unloading of material and parts mostly
unassisted
• Prove programs, operate waterjet controls, and set machine offsets

• Dry off and deburr parts & materials
• Use measuring tools to properly locate and identify raw materials
• Track inventory of sheet metal stock and consumables. Coordinate orders with Operations
Manager
• Maintain garnet levels in stock and hoppers
• Light machining operations (Drilling, Tapping, Reaming, etc.)
• Use band saw to cut raw materials to length
• Reverse engineer parts to modify or replace
• Accurately check all parts produced meet engineering tolerances and standards
• Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine, within
capabilities, controls or control media as required to ensure quality of productions. Report all
machine malfunctions to Operations Manager
• Periodically utilize forklift to move materials and equipment
• Notify supervisor of any parts or services required for maintenance
• Basic Math and English skills
• Study and interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions
and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations, and set up requirements
• Ensure production rates are met or exceeded
• Communicates with management for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly
• Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on waterjet equipment, bandsaws, belt sanders,
drill presses, grinding and deburring equipment.
• Complete all required safety procedures prior to and during work operations
• May perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
