What the Work Looks Like
This is a hands-on, physical field job. Day-to-day you’ll be:
Working on rooftops — comfort with heights is non-negotiable
Lifting and positioning materials up to 75 lbs
Using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment (skill saw, table saw, grinder, chop saw, and more)
Keeping your truck and job site organized and clean
During busy season, taking occasional overnight trips within Colorado; slow season is nearly all local out of the Denver metro area
This role isn’t for everyone. If heights, physical labor, or occasional overnight travel aren’t workable for you, this isn’t the right fit — and that’s completely okay.
Roles & Pay
*Installer 1
$23–$24/hr
Foundational tools and skylight knowledge; eager to learn
*Installer 2
$24–$26/hr
Independent installation of flashing, curbs, and frames
*Lead Installer
$26–$27/hr
Trains others, manages job-site progress, OSHA 10 required
You’ll be placed based on your current skills, with a direct path to move up as you grow.
Requirements — All Levels
1–5 years of construction experience (roofing, framing, glazing, or general trades all count)
*Coachable — we do things our way, and we need people who embrace that
Team-first, no-drama attitude
*Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs in the last 5 years — MVR check required)
*Ability to pass a background check
*This is not a stepping stone role. We invest heavily in our people and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us long-term.
Level-Specific Requirements
*Installer 1
*Proficient with hand and power tools; eager to learn skylight-specific skills
*Can read a tape measure and follow safety protocols
*Completes onboarding Installer Survey (50% threshold)
Installer 2 (all Installer 1 skills required)
*Installs ice and water shield, sill flashing, and curb-mount systems independently
*Executes quality caulking; designs and bends flashing
*Lays out and installs CMS and single slope skylight frames
Lead Installer (all lower-level skills required)
*Trains and mentors Installer 1s and 2s in the field
*Builds curb mount and structural units independently
*OSHA 10 certified (or willing to obtain)
*Documents job progress via CompanyCam; assists with field measurements
*Completes Installer Survey (75% threshold)
*Maintains a positive, professional job site culture
