If you are looking to be a part of our stable and friendly work environment; we are looking for a Night shift Sanitation Worker to be located at our 70,000 square foot facility in Denver, Colorado. In Sanitation, our crew cleans bins, machinery, drains, floors, walls, etc. This is a fast-paced working environment as we have production beginning at 7:00 AM in the morning and the facility must be cleaned and sanitized.
In this role, you will be responsible to perform cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment and environment in a through and safe manner, operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified, complete any required accurate record keeping of performed tasks or charts are properly documented according to company and regulatory regulations, adhere to all current SOP's, procedures, and quality requirements, maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas, maintain cooperative working relationships and communications with employees from all other departments, and perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required, or directed by plant management.
The Sanitation crew typically works 9:00 pm to 5:30 am Monday through Thursday and 6pm to 2:30 am Friday.
We are looking for hard working and dependable people. It is a very stable position and weekend work is a rarity but does occur during critical periods. This is mostly dry sanitation, so you will use minimal water and chemicals to clean and sanitize the production area and facility. Applicants must be able to tolerate strong scents and be physically able to stand throughout the shift.If you do not tolerate extreme hot or cold well, strong scents or are not able to work the hours stated week in week out, this is probably not the job for you. The sanitation crew is a small crew and if one person does not show up for work, it puts a strain on everyone else, so it is critical that our Sanitation employees come to work on time and when scheduled.
Minimum required skills:
1+ years in manufacturing experience, food manufacturing is a plus.
HS Diploma or GED preferred
Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
Ability to operate and/or maintain equipment.
Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arises.
Maintain professional and positive attitude and work ethic.
Must follow All American Seasonings GMP's and work consistent with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
Knowledge of maintenance and care of culinary facilities, equipment, supplies, and materials.
Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
Work involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
