This classic SR500 is in excellent condition, I owned the bike since 3-1991 and took very good care of it, it was always garaged or covered. She got frequent tune ups. The tires are practical new and she got a battery elimination capacitor installed so you never need to worry about a bad battery.
The engine starts very easily ( I can send a startup video ) and runs smoothly and clean, no smoke, all gears shift smoothly the brakes are strong.
All the electronic works flawless including the display lamps. No leaks from the engine or the front or rear chocks. The SR500 got a new seat with foam installed from Kedo.com, also the foot pegs are proprietary from Kedo and the rear shocks are upgraded YSS. All the locks on the bike work, three keys are included and the original tool set. Also, the original manual and repair manual are included. Currently is a Mikuni TM36-68 carburetor installed (better throttle response) but the original is also included.
The bike sounds great has lots of torque and is fun to drive.
You can register the bike as a collector bike and you will get a five-year registration for half price of the regular registration what is a really good deal.
