Up for sale is my '96 M900. I've owned it for a couple years and have put about 5k miles on it. It is in decent condition and yes, there is a dent in the tank hidden under the red sticker. There is a small list of little things wrong with it:
Won't idle, Pretty sure the carbs need cleaned. This is a new issue, it idled just fine last season. Yes, I put fuel stabilizer in it after last season and yes, I ran the bike a little bit to get some into the carbs.
Dent in tank after low speed lay down. I was following a car too close and they did a panic stop for some reason and I went down behind them.
Rear brakes don't work as they've been greased up by an oil leak from behind the dry clutch. It leaked out of the basket and sprayed the rotor when going at speed. I have all the rear brake components needed to repair this, except for whatever seal is leaking (new pads and rotor). This is a newish issue and I haven't looked much into it.
No mirrors or turn signals.
This bike is a project, but isn't too far off being a decent ride. I am selling because I would like to put the money into my truck and am done fucking with the bike. Maybe me a reasonable offer, low ball offers will be ignored. I have the title, clean and in my name.
