The time has come for me to put my wonderful XV920R up for sale. This is not some hacked together cafe racer, this is a fully functioning, ride across country tomorrow, thoughtfully customized machine. The XV920R is not to be confused with the rest of the mismatched shaft drive viragos (XV920 and XV750) out there.
What's been done:
The entire from end is from a 2005 R6 with new CORE brake lines, CBR master cylinder (no ugly reservoir), cognito moto triple clamps and conversion parts, new head bearings, cognito 1 1/8" clamps with new pro taper bars and new cables with new matching levers.
Headlight is an extremely bright all LED dual projector. Front signals are integrated into the fork legs and flash appropriately with a high end TST integrated tail light and flasher relay. All electronics under the seat have been rewired to run off a moto gadget m-lock keyless ignition. The gauges have been replaced by an Acewell all in one gauge.
Tank is from a KX650 and completely rust free. Rear subframe is a highly modified Greg Hageman unit that incorporates the 12 cell Li-ion battery and the neatly organized relays and electronics. The motor was left stock with the addition of the K&N through frame filter, mac header pipes and Lossa Engineering 18" quiet core silencer.
Rear end and suspension:
Rear wheel is from a late model Honda CB750 and is correctly adaped to the XV920R chain drive with new sprockets and a new chain with a slightly taller gear ratio to accommodate the 17" wheel and 160 width tire. Rear shock is a new progressive suspension 465 coilover with adjustable damping and preload.
I am probably forgetting a ton more. This has been a wonderful bike, but it's time to sell it to fund a new engine for the Camaro. I don't need help selling it, and absolutely no rides without cash in my hand.
