Leading distributor of Italian outdoor furniture with over two decades of successful relationships in the foodservice, hospitality and corporate industries is seeking for an event coordinator to join our marketing team. The primary focus of the position is to support our companies' goals by coordinating marketing activities directly related to our planned events.

 Organize all companies' events, including trade shows, networking events and training sessions
 Develop, execute and track pre-event and post-event marketing actions such as mailings, e-blasts, promotions, etc
 Submit content for editorials and press
 Maintain and update companies' websites with news
 Utilize company resources to seek opportunities and expand current customer base to create event invites
 Proofreading and editing to produce accurate high-quality work
 Create, copy and post on social media platforms & blogs
 Assist in development of forms/procedures to facilitate responsibilities
 Gain a deep understanding of the product, target audience and competitor activities in different sales channels
 Communicate all marketing/advertising opportunities to supervisor and assist in actions required
 Be on the look-out for industry & competitor's new and existing trends to suggest new marketing strategies and opportunities
 Work in coordination with management, sales and customer service
 Communicate with supervisor on any issues arising in daily procedures, products, and representatives
 Communicate with representatives and customer relations regarding all territorial activities
 Attend weekly staff meeting and present chosen subject relating to marketing & communications
 Limited travel may be necessary, including overnights
 Assist and perform other related duties as assigned

 Be a high school graduate or equivalent
 Experienced with trade shows and event planning
 Interest in interior design or fashion and current trends
 Creativity to promote events to the greatest return
 Detail Oriented and organized
 Be able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
 Team player and ability to work individually
 Computer Literate, proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & Power Point), Social Media and Marketing e-mail platforms such as Constant Contact and MailChimp
