Location: Zuma’s Rescue Ranch – Littleton, CO
Reports To: Barn Manager
Pay: $18–$20/hr
Love horses? Want your work to make a difference every single day?
At Zuma’s Rescue Ranch, we’re more than just a barn—we’re a sanctuary for horses and humans. We’re looking for a team member ready to roll up their sleeves, take ownership, and be part of something meaningful.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the Barn Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly, lead volunteers, and care for our rescued herd. No two days are the same, but your work will make a real difference every day.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the flow of daily barn operations—feeding, mucking, fence checks, and facility upkeep
Keep a clear task list and ensure things get done right and on time
Take initiative on ranch projects and help with events
Operate ranch equipment (tractor, skid steer, 4-wheeler—bonus if you’re already skilled)
You’ll Thrive Here If You:
Have real horse experience and know your way around a barn
Are organized, motivated, and don’t wait to be told what to do
Can communicate clearly and lead with calm authority
Are physically strong (able to lift 50 lbs) and don’t mind working outdoors in any weather
Genuinely care about animals and want your work to mean something
Why Zuma’s?
Because we care—about our animals, our people, and the community we serve. You’ll be part of a passionate team working to give horses a second chance and support people through healing programs. This is a job with purpose, and we’re looking for someone who’s all in.
Sound Like You?
Don’t wait. Send us your resume and a quick note about why this speaks to you. We’re excited to find someone who’s not just a great fit for the role, but a part of the Zuma’s mission.
