Experienced contractor needed skilled in hanging and replacing doors. Need to replace/paint one interior hollow office door and trim on one side only, for an interior office warehouse door. A forklift grazed a table which then slid into the door TRIM and cracked it. Was going to replace just the trim so bought a trim kit (primered) from Home Depot, but decided to have you(?) replace the trim and door both instead, repaint it, basically do it right.
The door itself works fine but is old, has scuffs + damage from apparent hands-full steel toe shoe vs. flimsy hollow door opening event. So just generally old and time to replace it, fresh paint, restore it to good condition again. So again, the door jamb itself it fine, only the trim on the warehouse side got damaged. The office side is fine. Door jamb is fine. Functionality is fine.
Need someone who can do the entire job. We could coordinate online will-call of materials from Home Depot if you like, or you supply door on own from your preferred wholesale source etc. (Habitat for Humanity used door is fine too), whatever works best am open to suggestions.
Can reuse door hardware or replace it, either way. Looking for complete job though, I need you to supply all materials (except door TRIM kit I already bought). Located over off Santa Fe and Dartmouth Ave. in Englewood/Sheridan area.
