I own small 4 family apt bld in the Platt Park / Wash Park neighborhood and need a little help on a regular basis. I am looking for a college student, recent college graduate, or college bound recent high school grad (college part is non-negotiable) to help with general bld chores and maintenance once every two weeks This will be an ongoing, long term, part time gig. Beginning pay, while you learn where tools are kept and what to do, will be $22.00 per hour paid in CASH $. My most recent helper, who was with me for the last 2 ½ years, was up to $28 per hour. The work can be interesting and in many cases even fun. No two days are ever alike

This will also be an opportunity for the right applicant to learn everything about managing a small apt bld. I have owned and managed this bld for almost 30 years. If interested, I will be happy to teach you all aspects of property management from book keeping and marketing a vacant apartment, to contracting a new tenant and structuring a lease agreement.

You do not need to own any tools…I have EVERYTHING (50 year tool collection)! I prefer a candidate with no experience. I am very particular about how I like things done and I have no interest in helping you un-learn doing things your way. You do need to be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Applicant must have a clean CBI report and a valid Colorado Driver’s License. A reference from a previous or current employer would be a plus but not a deal breaker.
