Do you have an artistic side? Do you take pride in your work, even if it’s something tiny no one else notices? Do you enjoy the idea of restoring beautiful old buildings instead of building soulless concrete boxes?
If yes — keep reading.
We’re looking for one (possibly two) part-time candidates to help us on a historical building restoration project. This is artisan work — things like stone restoration, historic repointing, and other tasks that require a sharp eye, a steady hand, and respect for craftsmanship.
The deal:
2–3 days a week to start, possibly more for the next 20–30 days.
We will train the right person — you don’t need experience, but you must be able to learn, focus, and follow instructions.
Must have a valid driver’s license and your own reliable transportation.
If you have tools, great. If not, we’ll provide the specialized tools needed for the specific tasks.
Must not be afraid of heights — comfortable working on scaffolding is a must.
Pay is real. We aren’t “paying in exposure” — we respect your time.
The right person:
Artsy, detail-oriented, and able to work with their hands.
Takes pride in even the smallest things they do.
Is reliable and doesn’t ghost after saying they’re interested.
Can handle physical work without complaining every 10 minutes.
Comfortable working at heights on scaffolding.
Male or female—we encourage women to apply. We’ve found women often excel in this type of fine-detail, artsy restoration work, and we already have a few talented women on the team.
The wrong person:
Treats work like a hobby.
Thinks “attention to detail” means glancing at something once.
Flakes out on Day 1 because “something came up.”
If you can spot a crooked picture frame from across the room—and it bothers you—we want you.
Reply with your name, a little about yourself, and why you think you’d be a fit.
Cheers!
