The study is comparing office-based methadone and office-based buprenorphine for opioid use treatment. All medication is prescribed by a clinician and picked up at a Kaiser Permanente Colorado pharmacy.
Eligible participants will be randomly assigned to receive either methadone or buprenorphine from your clinician. You will be compensated for each study visit.
What is involved:
• One in-person visit for screening
• Six monthly visits
• Weekly online questionnaire
• Total time = 6 months

• 18 years of age or older
• Have Opioid Use Disorder
• Seeking treatment for Opioid Use Disorder
• Kaiser Permanente Colorado member
