We are a small hot shot/expedited freight company seeking cargo van or pickup truck owner/operators for local and over the road deliveries (no trailers). We are a small company and we need available drivers to cover the loads as they come in. We do not do many locals, just for the customers that give us the OTR jobs. We do jobs to work sites with no addresses so you must be able to follow directions and go to a GPS point. We expect only the best - On time deliveries or deliver early when possible, paperwork must be filled out correctly and scanned back to dispatch, NO PICTURES OF PAPERWORK! Be professional and courteous, send pics of freight at pickup and delivery, verify you have correct freight at pickup, keep your vehicle in good shape, no speeding or aggressive driving. You will have a GPS unit in your vehicle so if you get lost, we can help you get to location. We are not like everyone else, we have a different way we do things. Be honest with yourself and ask questions about the job. If you are interested and make the call about our company. Make sure you are a good fit for us and we are a good fit for you.
this is a 1099 job paid by the mile
Drivers must have:
* Must have own vehicle in good condition (no exceptions)
* Must have PPE
* Valid drivers license
* Clean driving record
* Printer/Scanner in vehicle (smart phone compatible)
* Be able to drive 11 hours straight (OTR loads)
* Be available 24 hours/ 7 days a week (We are not a 9-5 company)
Incentives:
* Paid weekly
* We do not work off of load boards, all of our loads are from direct customers.
You must understand how to use email (read, print paperwork, scan paperwork). You must know what a pdf file is and how to print and send a pdf file. You must know how to take a picture with your cell phone and send to dispatch. Please have a reliable phone carrier as we go to several places that do not have a good signal. You must be able to speak, read and write the English language fluently. You must be able to follow detailed directions very well.
