I own a garden design business and I am grower. I have several projects from now until October1, this is a seasonal part time job. You must be able to lift more than 50 pounds, work as a team player, take direction, be able to ask questions. Communication is everything.
This is my business and I take pride in the work I do with that in mind, the applicant should have good hygiene.
Each day is different, some days could be planting flowers, some days could be raking leaves, some days could be pulling weeds and some days could be checking Irrigation. If you’re willing to work hard I’m not necessarily holding to having experience in the field. I am willing to teach the right person.
Horticulture knowledge, plant science, irrigation, communication with vendors, scientific names, understanding plant placement, all a huge, plus of course the pay will depend on experience.
Primarily, we run the business out of Lakewood and work most of the week as a crew downtown and in Boulder. One word of advice, If you have never done a job that involves physical labor this is not the first job you should apply for.
Principals only. Recruiters, please don't contact this job poster.
