Job Title: Full-Time Housekeeper
Reporting to: The Principals
Start: ASAP
Location: Denver, CO
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm; ideal if can be flexible as needed, including flexible to work occasional weekends for events/parties
Salary: $30-$45/hour, depending on experience; overtime pay of time and a half when work hours exceed 40 per week
Benefits: Medical stipend, two weeks PTO, four sick days, main federal holidays, annual discretionary raise and bonus
The Family: Husband, wife, 4-year-old, and 1.5-year-old
Main House: 20,000sq ft house
Second House: Home in the mountains (approximately two hours’ drive from Denver)
Travel: Ideal if flexible to travel to the home in the mountains
The Staff: Part-time nanny
Pets: one hypoallergenic very friendly mini-Sheepadoodle dog
Key Responsibilities*

Household Cleaning
• Ensure all aspects of the property, interiors as well as exteriors (including patios and garages) are clean and maintained
• Clean throughout the house (daily and deep clean): vacuuming, mopping, dusting and wiping surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, wiping windows, etc.
• Wash dishes, load/unload dishwasher, wipe down countertops and appliances
• Clean appliances as needed
• Wipe down playground equipment as needed
• Tidy all rooms to ensure items are neatly stored and clean
• Liaise with the principals on duties
• Clean and organize refrigerator, check and restock household supplies as needed
• Report damage, stains, or unusual activity to the principals
• Conduct home organizational projects as needed
• Put out trash/recycling bins and return
Supplies
• Order and shop for supplies, groceries, and toiletries as needed
• Record and file receipts for petty cash and household credit card
• Maintain household inventories of various supplies
• Run errands as needed
Deliveries
• Bring in, make note of, and unpack household deliveries as requested
• Organize returns as needed
Laundry & Clothing Care
• Manage all laundry, hand washing, and ironing/steaming
• Ensure linens are laundered and changed weekly
• Folding and organizing drawers and closets
• Manage the wardrobes and closets, keeping them organized and neat
• Organize dry cleaning as appropriate, and arrange collections and drop offs (take to dry cleaners as needed)
Contractors & Vendors
• Meet contractors and vendors and oversee maintenance appointments when necessary
• Check all items in the home are in good working order and report problems to the principals
Family Assistance
• Monitor deliveries and arrange returns
• Sort mail, separating junk
• Flag any unexpected visitors when principals are not in residence
• Assist with packing/unpacking for their travels
• Conduct house checks on weekends when the family is away, including occasional overnight house-sitting as required
Cooking
• Meal prep
• Light basic cooking
• Prepare meals when requested
• Assist if needed during events and family gatherings
Guest Arrival & Event/Party Assistance
• Prepare living and outdoor spaces to the principals’ specifications for their or guest arrival
• Help with event/party set up and break down (e.g. for dinner parties, birthday parties, etc.)
• Assist during the event by ensuring guests have everything they need, including serving drinks and providing any additional support as required
Occasional Childcare
• Occasional childcare when the nanny is off and the mother may need to go to an appointment/run an errand
Pet Care
• Walk the dog as needed and pick up after the dog in lawn areas
• Clean and fill dog bowls
• Assist with taking to the groomer or vet as needed
Requirements
• Legally able to work within the United States
• Proven similar work experience for a HNW private residence (at least three years)
• Experience must include caring for high-end materials (marble, natural wood floors, antiques, etc.)
• English proficiency (read, write, and speak)
• Must be tech savvy
• Must have a valid drivers’ license and reliable vehicle
• Happy to undergo a criminal background check
• Possess a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
