Yard Specialist $22 - $27/hr

About the Role

LMI Colorado is looking for at detail-oriented and knowledgeable Plant & Nursery specialist to support our Construction Division. This role is critical in ensuring our crews have the right plant material, organized and ready to go, to execute high-quality landscape installations.

What You’ll Do

• Identify trees, shrubs, and plant material in the yard based on job specifications
• Pull, stage, and organize plants for upcoming construction jobs
• Coordinate with field crews and supervisors to ensure accurate orders
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard and plant inventory
• Inspect plant quality and flag any issues before loading
• Assist with loading/unloading materials for job sites
• Track inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies
• Support general yard operations as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of plant and shrub identification (required)
• Experience in landscaping, nursery work, or horticulture preferred
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Ability to read plant lists and job specs accurately
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
