Position Summary
The Lead Glazier will oversee and participate in the installation of storefronts, curtain walls, and shower enclosures. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and attention to detail. The Lead Glazier will ensure quality workmanship, maintain schedules, and mentor team members, all while upholding ABS Glass’ standards for safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate glazier crews on-site, ensuring quality installations and productivity.
• Install commercial glass systems including storefronts, curtain walls, and shower doors.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure material integrity.
• Communicate daily with foremen and glazier crews.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Utilize ABS software for job site communication and accurate timekeeping.
• Manage completion of punch-list items to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Return unused materials to the warehouse in new condition.
• Participate in job site safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor crew members in installation techniques and safety practices.

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial glazing experience, including storefront and curtain wall systems.
• Minimum 2 years in a lead or field management role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
