We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented handy person with experience in the construction trades. This is an exciting opportunity that pays well, including benefits, for the right person. Must have good construction knowledge and experience. We need a Window Treatment Installer that can hit the ground running the first week. Only those who have built things, worked in home fabrication or carpentry, do their own repairs, etc.. should apply. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of various window treatments, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team and is one who shows up mentally and physically every day.
Responsibilities
• Install a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, and draperies, according to specifications.
• Commitment to the job. If you have a history of missing work for any minor illness or reason, do not apply.
• Measure and assess windows to ensure proper fit and alignment of treatments.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.
• Perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed during the installation process.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at job sites.
• Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installations.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
• Proven experience in construction-related fields such as remodeling, drywall installation, carpentry, metal framing and installation
into concrete.
• Clean driving record and criminal-free background. We will need a copy of your MVR and will do a background check.
• Honesty, flexibility and dedication.
• Experience with metal stud framing is a big plus.
• Work well under pressure and able to respond to setbacks with a positive attitude. Unexpected situations happen when installing and
we expect you to be able to smile in front of the customer and adjust your plan without frustration.
• Must be comfortable with some heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
• Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools correctly and safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
