MIDCENTURY NON-WORKING SUNBURST 8-DAY CLOCK - $30
This is a fabulous sunburst clock from the mid-1950s. I don’t have a key. But I took it to a clock maker and used his key to wind it. It doesn’t work. And he said that these clocks commonly stopped working and are not really repairable. I’ve just had it on a wall because I love how it looks. Marked MADE IN GERMANY on back. Roman numbers. Measures 18” diameter and 3” deep, approximately. The glass front opens so you can access the winder mechanism. Sun rays made of painted plastic.
GRANT WOOD “DINNER FOR THRESHERS” POSTER - $20
We purchased this exhibition poster from the Fine Art Museum of San Francisco about ten years ago. Grant Wood is a famous American artist most known for “American Gothic.” This poster is entitled Dinner for Threshers. Measures 18” x 41”
VICTOR BRAUNER EXHIBITION POSTER SURREALIST - $30
I picked this up 2nd hand more than a few years ago. Victor Brauner was a Romanian painter and sculptor of the surrealist movement. The exhibition was from the Galerie Alexandre Iolas in Saint-Germain, Paris France. This gallery opened in 1960s and was closed in 1976. So that gives you a window for the age of this piece. Lovely neutral colors where you can see a few different faces and a crescent moon! Measures 19” wide by 30” tall, approximately. Professionally framed in a slim silver frame by J. N. Houston Frame Gallery in Aspen, CO. Light scratches on the frame. Not noticeable when hung.

TOUR ALASKA 3D MAP - $10
This is a 3D relief map of the state of Alaska by Tour Alaska. Tourism information across the bottom of map. No frame. Made of plastic. It’s been pinned to a wall, so there are pinholes in the corners, some small holes and one tear along an edge. Measures 20” x 21”.
FRAMED 3D COLORADO MAP, KISTLER GRAPHICS - $50
Framed in a nice rustic wooden frame. Some scratches and dings to frame. Displays nicely. I bought this 2nd hand. Previous owner’s name on back in black sharpie. This is a 3D relief map of the state of Colorado by Kistler Graphics of Denver, CO. Dated 1974.
COLUMBINE FLOWER - $10
Small print, nicely framed. Colorado’s state flower is done in blue and black. Measures 13” x 16”
GOLDEN TRIANGLE PITTSBURGH, PA - $30
This is a modern halftone reproduction, but still vintage, of an antique photograph of downtown Pittsburg Pennsylvania, 1903. Yes, Pittsburg with the ‘h’. This is back in the mega industrial age of Andrew Carnegie when steel mills lined the rivers. You see barges and railcars waiting to be loaded. Photo by J W Spahr. Measures 11” x 40”.
MARK ROTHKO FRAMED POSTER - $15
Grabbed this 2nd hand many years ago. I love his work. And if you ever go to Houston, TX, you must go to the Rothko Chapel to see 14 stunning works of his done in tones of black. This poster is much more vivid with its reds and blues. Ripples to the poster inside the frame. Measures 20” x 33”.
