Offered for your consideration is a 1920's Oshkosh Wardrobe Steamer Trunk. It was made in Oshkosh Wisconsin. It's in good condition for being 100+ years old. It measures 42" High (if standing up, or 42" wide if laying down) by 23" wide and 23" deep. Inside it has a place to put 3 pairs of shoes, plus 12 original wood hangers, and 5 drawers. This would make a great conversation piece that you could store your seasonal clothes in or laying down it would make a fantastic coffee table. Note: The pictures were taken with the original broken lock. Since then I found an original YALE New Old Stock (NOS) lock with 2 original keys. I have replaced the broken lock with the NOS lock, so now it locks as it should. I will include the original lock in the deal.
THE BACK STORY: My mother got this trunk in 1932 when she was moving from California to Montana. She stored clothes in it up until she passed away. Then my brother got it and stored his Vietnam Army uniform in it for several years. When he passed away I got the trunk. We are trying to downsize, so I'm letting it go.
