We’re a small, patient-focused optometry office, and we’re looking for a friendly, motivated Optometric Assistant to join our team.
What you’ll do:
Help with preliminary testing (corneal topography, auto-refraction, Maestro OCT, visual fields, Spark PD).
Keep patient flow moving — scheduling, chart updates, and other office tasks.
Help patients pick out glasses — combining product knowledge, style sense, and people skills.
Pitch in with our on-site optical lab (edging and finishing experience is a bonus, but not required).
Adjusting & dispensing specks.
What we’re looking for:
Solid computer skills (you’ll use them every day).
Experience in optical, medical, or customer service is helpful.
Comfort with sales — guiding patients to the right frames and lenses for their needs and budget.
Some mechanical aptitude with spectacle frame adjusting. Extra points if you’ve worked with edging or finishing lenses.
Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
What we offer:
A supportive, small-team environment (no “big box” vibe here).
Full-time schedule with pay starting at $20–$22/hr depending on experience.
Opportunities to learn more in clinical testing, optical sales, and lab work.
If you’re looking for a place where you can use your skills, keep learning, and make a real difference helping people see (and look) their best, we’d love to hear from you.
