Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 9:00AM-5:30PM
Primary Job Responsibilities:
-This position reports to the Director of Entertainment & Programming.
-Assist the Director of Entertainment & Programming in providing recreational, business and medical transportation to residents.
-Assist residents in entering and exiting the vehicle.
-Assist in the development of the monthly transportation calendar.
-Assist the Director of Entertainment & Programming in providing overall direction to the Activity Department by planning, coordinating, and implementing activities.
-Drive residents to events as needed.
-Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent.
-Previous relevant experience preferred.
-Must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving
-Must have a valid state Driver’s License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
-The ability to plan and coordinate resident transportation.
-Demonstrated organizational skills.
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, and the use of Internet resources.
-Must possess knowledge of the geographic area they will be driving in.
-Driving record must meet or exceed minimum standards of insurability by the company’s automobile insurer.
-The ability to read, write, and communicate with residents.
-Outstanding customer service skills with caring and compassionate behavior towards others.
-Ability to coordinate with supervisors when group action is needed to solve a problem and get cooperation of other departments within the community.
