Update 4/28: still looking for a few more people!

Hey guys,
I'm trying to get a group of people together to just play some baseball on a weekly basis, or how ever frequent we can get together.
The weather is finally getting nice, and it seems it is around now each year when I start looking at registering for softball leagues, and I'm always too late haha.

I'm hoping to find 10 or 15 people who would like to get together, maybe every Sunday (or whatever day works for the majority) and just playing a sandlot-type game or two at a local park. I live in Lakewood, so I'm hoping we can do it somewhere on the West-Side of Denver. Doesn't matter your age, experience, gender, etc. Everyone is welcome - the more the merrier!

A little about myself: I'm a 30yr male with moderate baseball/softball experience (played throughout all of childhood, partway through high school, also played a few co-ed leagues and sandlot games in recent years). I grew up in Cleveland, went to CU Boulder for undergrad, and got a degree in Geology. I am currently residing in Lakewood. I am not incredible at the game or anything, but I can play decently at any position and I hope those who respond at least know the rules and have at least a little experience. Hoping to find people who would love to spend a Sunday playing a friendly game of ball where we don't really keep score, but just play to play. It would be BYOM (bring your own mitt haha), no umps, and normal rules. We'll just play until we don't feel like playing anymore.

It would probably be lob/semi-fastpitch - nothing crazy - hard enough to give us some pop off the bat but I really don't want people getting drilled by pitches, nor do we want everyone striking out. Lets keep everyone on the field awake and on their toes!

Let me know if you're interested, what city you're from, what your experience level is, and what days you'd be available! Also let me know if you know of a park that we could use - either on the weekend, or afternoons/evenings during the work-week. I just moved down here from Boulder last fall, so I'm not incredibly familiar with the area yet.

Feel free to email or text me.

Hope to hear from you all soon!
