We have many types of wood to choose from like Pinon, Cedar, Sassafras, Birch, Ash, Oak, Mulberry, Birch, Maple, Walnut, Locust, Hackberry and others.
We appreciate your interest in the firewood. We wanted to pass along a few suggestions for you when searching for firewood from other vendors.
Yes, our prices will be higher than our competitors and here are a few reasons why. We only work with high-quality hardwoods like oak, ash, maple, birch, locust, walnut, beech, mulberry and hackberry. We only procure wood from healthy alive trees in order to ensure we avoid decay & bugs. We don't use fillers like cottonwood, box elder, pine, sumac, etc in our woods. Most of the local vendors will use these types of wood, because they grow in the area and are easy to obtain, however they burn much quicker, Don't provide much heat, and have an unpleasant aroma when burned
Our woods are split smaller than others so it enables you to start the fire easily. Other vendors will provide very large pieces of wood that will be difficult to burn & will likely need to be split down into smaller sizes before you can use it. We don't premix our woods so you can choose the species and ratio you'd like for the cord. Our wood is dry & ready to burn whereas many other vendors wood will be fresh and unable to burn until it dries out.

Ash, Hackberry, Mulberry, Oak, Birch, Locust, Walnut & Maple are hardwoods and will burn really hot with no sap to clog up the chimney flue.
Pinon & Cedar are wonderful woods from New Mexico that have a unique fragrance -- they will fill the air of your home with an amazing aroma. Please inquire about pricing for these wonderful two woods as they differ from the hardwoods listed.
All wood is properly cured / seasoned and is ready to burn.
All wood is cut in 15 to 16 inch lengths and split into nice smaller sizes that are easier to carry and get started in your fireplace. We also have smaller lengths for wood stoves and kiva fireplaces.
Here is a guide for standard amounts, but we can sell as much as you would like. We have been supplying Colorado residents and restaurants for 33 years. We have large quantities of all woods year round to fulfill your needs.
