8yo gray thoroughbred gelding standing 16.2hh. In the past, he has shown successfully over fences in the hunter and equitation rings with teenage juniors. I accepted him as a restart after he came out of a lesson program with a bone bruise on his spine from ill-fitting tack. I won't dance around what his issue is - he has a buck in the canter. Not consistently, but it is there. I am selling him as greenbroke in the context of that restart - walk-trot, moves haunches and shoulders, basic lateral movement, has a bend and a pretty frame, soft in the bridle. He is a kick ride with more whoa than go. No bolt. Mouthy but otherwise respectful on the ground. I was hoping to keep him for longer before listing, but unfortunately I need to buy another lesson horse and cannot keep him as well.
He is brave, curious, and smooth, feels more like a quarter horse than a TB under saddle. Keeps fat on grass hay and 2 cups senior. Front shoes. He will make somebody a great, smart horse, just needs consistency and a calm, fair hand. 7k OBO.
