Meet Moon — Searching for Her Forever Trail Partner
Hi, I’m Moon, a 15-year-old mare standing about 14.3 hands. I’ve seen my share of hard times, but I still believe my forever family is out there — someone who will love me for the gentle, loyal trail horse I am.
I’m happiest out on the trail where I can breathe the fresh air, splash through creeks, and watch the world go by. I cross water, handle traffic like a pro, and take great care of my rider — especially the little ones. I’m not a big fan of arena work (I’d rather go exploring!), but I’ll try my best if you ask kindly.
I stand perfectly for the farrier, load like a dream, and have excellent manners. I do wear front shoes because my feet are a bit soft, but that doesn’t slow me down one bit.
Before I was rescued, I spent too much time alone in a stall and started cribbing — but with love, turnout, and attention, that’s all behind me now. I’ve healed, and I’m ready for a new chapter.
